Devan Hardaway is a multifaceted attorney, born and raised in Georgia; She was brought to the Sunshine State by her desire to help others. Devan is the product of a family with backgrounds in military, government, education, and law.
In between law school, and teaching and volunteering, Devan managed to develop an interest in litigation with a heavy emphasis on criminal law and the justice system.
She previously worked as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit since beginning her legal career as a Certified Legal Intern. During her time at the State, she had the privilege of writing some of the policies for several diversion programs for juveniles and petit crimes. In 2017,
Devan was given an amazing opportunity, by State Attorney Andrew H. Warren, to combine her knowledge and research with the necessary resources to help write and implement the framework for the policy that birthed the office’s Conviction Review Unit.
Devan’s determination and dedication to her legal career is tantamount to her ability to effectively serve her clients.
She is light-years ahead in the ways she views the world, her way of thinking and approach to problem solving.
